"El Verbo de Dios"

Juan 1:1- En el principio era el Verbo, y el Verbo era con Dios, y el Verbo era Dios.
John 1:1- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Juan 1:14- Y aquel Verbo fue hecho carne, y habitó entre nosotros (y vimos su gloria, gloria como del unigénito del Padre), lleno de gracia y de verdad.

John 1:14- And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
When we compair the two scriptures in English and in Spanish we can see what was spoken of. By seeing it in the two languages we see new understanding of the verse.

v1- In the beginning was the Verb and the Verb was with God, and the Verb was God.
v14- And the Verb was made flesh and dwelt among us.

The word Verb shows understanding of action being taken by God. Movement by a force of power from one wanting the action to take place. We know when God speaks action will happen.

Look at how the Bible begins. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. A God said ,"Let there be...and it was". By his power and his voice (Word, Verb) was created all things. (Gen. 1:1-3)
The universe was created by the spoken word of God. The words, "let there be", put everything into motion. When God speaks it is with purpose and direct to the point.

Isaiah 55:11- So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Isaias 55:11- así será mi palabra que sale de mi boca; no volverá a mí vacía, sino que hará lo que yo quiero, y será prosperada en aquello para que la envié.

Understanding who and what the Word of God is shows us truths about salvation and faith in God.
Psalm 107:20- He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
Salmos 107:20- Envió su palabra, y los sanó,Y los libró de su ruina.
1 Tim. 3:16- And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
1 Tim. 3:16- indiscutiblemente, grande es el misterio de la piedad: Dios fue manifestado en carne, Justificado en el Espíritu, Visto de los ángeles, Predicado a los gentiles, Creído en el mundo, Recibido arriba en gloria.
Matt. 8:16- When the even was come, they brought unto (him) many that were possessed with devils: and (he) cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:
Mateo 8:16- Y cuando llegó la noche, trajeron a (él) muchos endemoniados; y con la palabra echó fuera a los demonios, y sanó a todos los enfermos;
Mark 4:39, 41-And he arose, and (rebuked) the wind, and (said) unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
Marcos 4:39- Y levantándose, (reprendió) al viento, y (dijo) al mar: Calla, enmudece. Y cesó el viento, y se hizo grande bonanza.
Mark 4:41- And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
Marcos 4:41- Entonces temieron con gran temor, y se decían el uno al otro: ¿Quién es éste, que aun el viento y el mar le obedecen?
John 7:46- The officers answered, Never man (spake) like this man.
Juan 7:46- Los alguaciles respondieron: !!Jamás hombre alguno ha (hablado) como este hombre!
We know that Jesus is the Lord of Lord's and king of king's, the Almighty according to scripture. Rev. 1:8, Apoc. 1:8
His power and authority are unequalled.
Eccle. 8:4-  Where the word of a king is, there is power:
Ecle. 8:4-  Pues la palabra del rey es con potestad
As our heavenly Father (John 8:24,27), sovereign Lord and Savior, he has all power. He has also given us authority and anointing to speak his Word, and he has promised to conferm that Word. Because he is the Almighty, and we are his children, we also has authority through his Spirit which he gives to us. (Isa. 28:11-12, Eph. 4:30) We have a commission from God. (Luke 24:47)
2 Tim. 4:2- Preach (the word); be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
2 Tim. 4:2- que prediques (la palabra); que instes a tiempo y fuera de tiempo; redarguye, reprende, exhorta con toda paciencia y doctrina.

Understanding lets us know who the Word is. Reread: "Preach Jesus", Matt. 1:23- God with us. Isa. 9:6-The mighty God, the everlasting Father, John 8:24,27- I am HE, the Father.
When we speak his Word we can expect results, action to take place. When we speak the Word of God in prayer we bring down strong holds and powers. Chains begin to loose and walls begin to fall. Faith in his power and his Word brings about the motion of action. By his Spirit we overcome all things. Healings, and miracles and wonders can be seen. Speak to the illness and expect action. We can speak to the storms in our lives and expect God to do something. Speak the Word and you shall recieve.
This is a simple and clear understanding of the Word of God. He did not send another to do his bidding, he came himself in flesh (1 Tim. 3:16, 2 Cor. 5:19) to save his creation. he gave the example in his life and said how to follow him to be saved. (Luke 24:47, John 3:5) By teaching his disciples he let us know his salvation through his Word. (Acts 2:38, Acts 19:1-6, Acts 22:16).  We are in understanding that HE sits on his throne alone and that in heaven there is one throne and we all shall stand before it. (Rev. 4:2, 2 Kings 2:16)
2 Kings 2:16-  And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.
